Israeli Winger Taayi Abed Agrees Financial Terms for Loan to Sevilla from Levante

Israeli winger Taayi Abed is close to securing a loan move from Levante to Sevilla for the upcoming season. The two Spanish clubs have agreed on a loan deal without a fee, with Sevilla covering Abed's salary of 750,000 euros per season. The agreement may also involve a player moving from Sevilla to Levante. The only remaining issue is the purchase option price after the loan: Levante wants 8 million euros, while Sevilla proposes 4 million euros.

Abed, 22, joined Levante in January from PSV Eindhoven for around 200,000 euros but struggled for playing time, featuring in only seven matches last season with 87 minutes total and not included in Levante's squad for the first two games this season. Levante is seeking to loan him out to gain more minutes and continue his development. Other clubs like Dutch side Heerenveen and Spanish second division team Valladolid showed interest, but Abed prefers Sevilla.

Sevilla's transfer window closes next Tuesday, so the deal must be finalized by then. Sevilla previously signed Israeli striker Munas Dabbur for a record 17 million euros, a record later surpassed by Manor Solomon's 25 million euro transfer to Crystal Palace this summer. Abed's market value is estimated at around 1 million euros, making this loan a financially viable option for Sevilla.
