Lecce Seeks to Finalize Shtayv Turiel Transfer from Hapoel Tel Aviv

Italian club Lecce is set to hold talks on Saturday evening to finalize the transfer of Israeli midfielder Shtayv Turiel from Hapoel Tel Aviv. The negotiations aim to resolve outstanding details after Hapoel Tel Aviv rejected Lecce's initial offer of two million euros. Turiel's agent, Ronen Katzav, confirmed that the player is eager to move to Serie A and views the transfer as a significant professional and financial opportunity. Lecce, which includes Israeli player Omri Gandelman, has offered Turiel a salary of 650,000 euros per season.

Hapoel Tel Aviv has been reluctant to part with one of their key players, especially after doubling Turiel's salary to 300,000 euros last season in exchange for waiving a release clause set at 1.7 million euros. Turiel, who will turn 26 in January, is pushing for the move despite the club's resistance. The upcoming meeting is crucial to determine whether the clubs can reach an agreement before the transfer window closes.
