Israeli Midfielder Taayi Abed Likely to Leave Levante Amid Transfer Window
Israeli footballer Taayi Abed has been left out of Levante's squad for the second consecutive time this season, missing the recent away match against Osasuna. According to Levante correspondent Eric Martin Gasola from Mundo Levante UD, Abed is again excluded from the team lineup and is expected to depart the club before the transfer window closes next week. Currently 22 years old, Abed holds offers from clubs in the Netherlands and Spain but is not considering a return to Israel.
Abed joined Levante in January 2026 from PSV Eindhoven for a transfer fee of 200,000 euros. During the latter half of the previous season, he made seven appearances in La Liga, all as a substitute, totaling just 87 minutes of play. His early career began in the youth teams of Maccabi Tel Aviv and later Hapoel Tel Aviv before moving to PSV's youth setup in summer 2022.
