Three Women Indicted for Assault After Parking Dispute Involving Israeli Prison Service Officer

A criminal indictment has been filed against three women following a violent incident in Kfar Yona, Israel. The case began with a dispute over a parking spot between an Israeli Prison Service (IPS) officer and a male driver. After the argument, the IPS officer contacted her sister and two other women, who arrived at the scene and assaulted the man with clubs, causing head injuries that required medical treatment. The attack also resulted in damage to the man's vehicle.

Police investigations led to the identification and arrest of four women involved. The IPS officer was released under restrictive conditions, including house arrest, while the other three suspects had their detention extended by court order. The IPS officer was questioned under warning and remains under investigation. Following the investigation, the Central Prosecution Unit charged the three women with assault, intentional vehicle damage, simple assault, and violation of a legal order.

The Israeli Police emphasized their strict stance against violence and bullying, stating they will continue to act decisively against those who resort to violence to resolve disputes. The IPS also condemned the conduct, affirming it contradicts the organization's values and legal standards. Alongside the police investigation, the IPS is conducting a disciplinary review of the officer involved and will take necessary measures based on the findings.
