Three Women Indicted for Assaulting Driver with Batons in Parking Dispute in Kfar Yona

A violent incident in Kfar Yona escalated from a parking dispute into a physical assault involving batons. The conflict began between a Prison Service officer and a driver over a parking spot. Following the argument, the officer allegedly contacted her sister, who arrived with two other women. The three women then attacked the driver with batons, causing injuries including head wounds and damage to his vehicle. The driver required medical treatment.

Police arrested all four women involved. The Prison Service officer was questioned under caution and released under restrictive conditions, including house arrest, while the investigation into her conduct continues. The other three women had their detention extended after being brought before the court.

The Central District Prosecutor's Unit filed charges against the three women for assault, intentional damage to property, simple assault, and violating a legal order. The Israel Police emphasized their zero tolerance for violence and bullying, pledging to pursue offenders to the fullest extent of the law.

The Prison Service condemned any behavior inconsistent with legal and organizational values and stated that disciplinary measures against the officer will be taken based on the ongoing investigation's findings.
