Israeli Forces Raid East Jerusalem Homes of Released Terrorists, Seize Vehicles and Gold

Israeli police, Border Police, and the elite counter-terrorism unit Metzal conducted raids on the homes of terrorists in East Jerusalem who had been released in previous prisoner exchange deals. These individuals were reportedly still receiving financial rewards from the Palestinian Authority. During the operation, authorities confiscated vehicles, gold, and cash valued at several hundred thousand shekels. The raids were carried out under seizure orders issued by the Israeli Defense Minister.

Among those targeted were Muhammad Abd al-Rahman Abbad, involved in a 2002 attempted suicide bombing in Jerusalem, and Ahed Faiz Ali al-Natsheh, a Hamas operative who planned a car bomb attack in Pisgat Ze'ev and an assault in the Klal Center in 2001 that injured both police officers and civilians.
