Thousands Celebrate Summer’s End at New Beit El Amphitheater with Shuli Rand and Ben Tzur

The story · English

Thousands of residents from Beit El and surrounding areas gathered yesterday to mark the end of summer with a concert featuring Shuli Rand and Ben Tzur at the newly inaugurated amphitheater in the settlement. The event also included an opening performance by singer Aviad. Beit El Council Head Shay Alon opened the evening with a speech, highlighting that the amphitheater, which can accommodate over 4,000 people, was constructed in just five months on what was previously an empty, neglected area.

Alon described the new venue as a milestone for Beit El, positioning it as the "capital of Binyamin" and a central hub for major regional events. He extended greetings and well-wishes to attendees and residents of Binyamin, Judea, and Samaria. The lineup was intentionally diverse to appeal to all age groups, with Aviad opening, followed by Shuli Rand and Ben Tzur, aiming to reach younger audiences, nostalgia lovers, and fans of contemporary music alike.

The amphitheater is planned to become a permanent cultural venue for the Binyamin region, with hopes to host multiple events annually. Alon also noted the recent growth in Beit El’s population and the establishment of new communities nearby, alongside the expansion of local agricultural enterprises. He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the connection between settlement and security, stating, "If there is no settlement, there is no security."
