The story · English

A grand and impressive ceremony marking the completion of the Talmudic tractate Rosh Hashanah took place at the new and large study hall of the Modzitz Hasidic dynasty in Bnei Brak. The event was held under the auspices of the 'Amud HaKehila' initiative, founded by the Modzitz Rebbe. Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Krimlovsky from Beitar opened the event by explaining the shared joy among all learners and finishers. Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu Tab, the Rebbe's son and a member of the 'Yodei Toratecha' leadership, spoke about the importance of studying daily tractates and emphasized the necessity of setting fixed times for Torah study without compromise.

The guest of honor, Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Kapp, inspired the audience by highlighting the great merit of Torah scholars and shared practical examples of the powerful spiritual moment at the siyum. The emotional climax occurred when the Modzitz Rebbe conducted the siyum and, before reciting the Hadran, broke into tears while singing "Shir Hama'alot" for the recovery of his infant grandson. Following the recitation of Kaddish, joyous dancing erupted in the hall to celebrate the mitzvah. The Rebbe then distributed bottles of wine for a communal "L'chaim" toast.

The Rebbe's son, Rabbi Aharon Yehuda Moshe Tab, head of the yeshiva, was honored with starting the study of the tractate Yoma and spoke about the proper preparation for it. In his central address, the Rebbe emphasized that all community members gathered together form a unified group of finishers and blessed the attendees that through beginning the study of Yoma, they merit a good inscription and sealing for a sweet and good year.
