Woman Loses Four Fingers in Mixer Accident at Home in Ashkelon

A 58-year-old woman in Ashkelon suffered a severe hand injury when her hand got caught in a mixer at her home, resulting in the amputation of four fingers. Rescue teams from United Hatzalah provided initial medical treatment, including bandaging and stopping the bleeding, before she was transported to the hospital. Her condition was reported as moderate.

United Hatzalah medic Uri Avraham Shmuel stated that the woman was injured while using the mixer in her kitchen. After receiving emergency care at the scene, she was taken to the hospital for further treatment. The incident highlights the dangers of household kitchen appliances and the importance of immediate medical response.
