Woman Loses Four Fingers in Kitchen Blender Accident in Ashkelon
Emergency services including police, Magen David Adom, and United Hatzalah responded on Wednesday to a serious kitchen accident at a home in Ashkelon. A 58-year-old woman suffered severe injuries when her fingers became caught in a blender during cooking, resulting in the amputation of four fingers. United Hatzalah medic Uri Avraham Shmuel provided initial treatment at the scene, including bandaging and bleeding control. The woman was then transported to the hospital for further care, with her condition reported as moderate.
