Palestinian Authority Forces Train with Gunfire Amidst Threatening Messages from Nukhba Militants

Moran Tal from the research department of the Regev movement revealed footage on the program "7.10 - West Bank Version" showing Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces training in shooting at a firing range. In the background, a voice recites a message attributed to a Nukhba militant, stating, "This land is our land, built by our ancestors and watered with our blood." Tal warned that the message echoes Quranic verses promising the destruction of the Jewish people, highlighting the clear hostile intent behind the training.

Tal traced the audio to a video of a Nukhba militant during the release of Israeli hostage Tal Shomy, emphasizing the ideological connection between the militant group's rhetoric and the PA's security forces' activities. She linked these messages to the Hamas attack on October 7, asserting that Hamas acted with the belief in such promises of annihilation against Jews.

Criticizing the Israeli security establishment's view of the PA security forces as partners in security coordination, Tal called this perception a "existential threat" rather than cooperation. She stressed that the training and the accompanying messages reveal a dangerous reality that cannot be mistaken for peaceful coordination.

The footage and analysis were broadcast less than a day after the Hamas attack, underscoring ongoing tensions and the complex security challenges in the West Bank involving PA forces, Hamas, and Israel.
