Cyber Directorate Warns of Microsoft Impersonation Campaign Targeting Login Details
Israel’s National Cyber Directorate has warned about a wave of suspicious messages that pretend to be document-sharing requests in Microsoft Teams or Power BI. The messages direct recipients to a website that asks them to enter a verification code or approve a login attempt, apparently in order to steal credentials and take over personal and organizational accounts.
The directorate said users should not enter any code or approve any sign-in they did not initiate. It also advised checking with the sender through a separate channel before responding to such requests.
Anyone who suspects a phishing attempt can report it to hotline 119.
