Religious Zionism Party Installs Directional Signs in Northern West Bank After Lynch Attempt

The Religious Zionism party, led by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, has installed directional signs in northern Samaria (West Bank) following a recent lynch attempt against an Israeli family that mistakenly entered Jenin. The signs guide drivers to key settlements and routes in the area, including Mevo Dotan, Emek Dotan, Homesh, and Shannur, aiming to reduce navigation errors and improve orientation for travelers.

The party stated that the initiative also seeks to strengthen the connection between the Israeli public and the settlements in northern Samaria, making these communities more accessible and familiar. They emphasized that northern Samaria is a thriving and renewing region, part of the settlement movement led by Smotrich, serving as a security belt for Israel. The party encouraged Israelis to visit, tour, and get to know the area without fear, asserting that terrorism will not dictate travel routes.

This move follows an incident last week when an Israeli family inadvertently entered Jenin and was attacked with stones. The Religious Zionism party's signage effort is part of a broader push to promote settlement growth and public engagement in the region despite security challenges.
