The story · English

Mizrahi Tefahot Invest has completed the acquisition of a 15% stake in Mif'at, an Israeli waste management company, for NIS 99 million. The deal also grants the bank an option to purchase an additional 5% for between NIS 42 million and NIS 46 million. This transaction values Mif'at at NIS 659 million post-investment.

Mif'at, controlled by Eli Lahav's company Lahav L.R. since four years ago, has seen its valuation increase sevenfold. The company operates across the entire waste collection chain, with key assets including a transfer station in the Sharon region that handles bulky waste, household garbage, and industrial waste. It also owns a fleet of 230 vehicles and a 70-dunam landfill site in Kedumim.

In the first quarter, Mif'at generated revenues of NIS 121 million, projecting annual revenues close to NIS 500 million. Its forecasted EBITDA for 2026 stands at NIS 88 million. The company is managed by Eli Eliyahu.
