FIMI Considers Buying Control of Mitronics as Taas Stock Market Awaits Inflation Data and Mizrahi Reports

Mitronics, a robotic pool cleaning company based in Kibbutz Yizrael, is seeking an investment of approximately 300 million shekels and is currently in talks with financial and strategic investors, primarily the FIMI fund. FIMI is leading discussions to acquire control of the company, believing it can revive Mitronics, which once made its kibbutz members paper multi-millionaires but is now relinquishing control.

In other business news, Clalit Health Services announced that Ayalon Insurance won the large tender to manage the group long-term care insurance policy covering about 2.7 million insured individuals. Ayalon is the sole bidder and will operate the policy starting January 1, 2027, for an initial three-year period with options to extend up to eight years.

As the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange opens a new trading week, investors are reacting to July inflation data released last Friday, showing a monthly rise of 0.3% and a slight annual inflation decrease to 1.5% from 1.6% in June.
