Jordan Valley Springs Offer Refreshing Weekend Getaways with New Facilities

The Jordan Valley has become a popular destination for travelers seeking cool, clear springs and unique agricultural experiences. Recent excavations have uncovered new water sources, earning the area the nickname "Land of the Springs." Visitors can enjoy several upgraded and natural springs within minutes of their vehicles.

Ein Sukkot features a large, upgraded reservoir pool measuring approximately 60 by 30 meters, surrounded by dense reeds and equipped with wooden decks, shaded seating, and convenient parking just steps from the water. Adjacent to it is the original spring pool with crystal-clear, cool water, offering a quiet spot for wading.

Ein Gal, named after fallen IDF soldier Gal Basson, has a 70-meter flowing stream feeding a 1.5-meter-deep clear wading pool, shaded by sycamore and eucalyptus trees, with picnic tables, swings, and nearby cycling trails. Ein Yarmukh is the deepest spring in the area, reaching about 4 meters deep, with a large pool surrounded by reeds and fish, featuring a new wooden deck and shaded benches.

Ein Arnon offers a refreshing pool 2 to 2.5 meters deep, with wooden decks, wide steps, a ladder, and a diving board, plus benches, swings, and picnic tables for visitors to relax and cool off.

Additional attractions include agricultural farms such as Tsalek Farm in Argaman, which connects visitors to local heritage and produce, and Eli Gilad Farm in Masua, offering date orchard tours, a petting zoo, and an exotic snake farm. Visits to these farms require prior arrangement.
