Seven-Year-Old Omar Ben Dies After Electric Scooter Accident in Wadi Ara Village

Omar Shadi Aazem, a 7-year-old boy from Tayibe, died a week and a half ago after being hit by an electric scooter rider in the village of Meiser, located in the Menashe Regional Council area in Wadi Ara. Omar had come to visit his grandparents when the accident occurred. He was critically injured and later pronounced dead at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera. Emergency medic Tal Pankinski described the chaotic scene and the severe multi-system trauma Omar suffered, noting the life-saving treatment provided before his hospital transfer.

In a separate incident, Moaad Bahash, 21, from Kalansawa, died in a collision involving two motorcycles and a car on Route 57 near the Tanubot junction in the Sharon region. Moaad sustained severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Another motorcyclist was seriously injured, and the car driver suffered minor injuries. Moaad's father, Abd al-Rahman Bahash, shared the family's grief, recalling Moaad's recent wedding celebration and his generous nature, including gifting his newly built house to his brother. Moaad's mother expressed her heartbreak and the difficulty of coping with his loss.

Both families are mourning deeply, emphasizing the tragic and sudden nature of these losses and the ongoing emotional pain they endure.
