Jaffa Port to Host Three-Day Fair Supporting Northern Israeli Businesses

N12Center
Translated & summarized from N12 by baba
The story · English

Starting Wednesday, June 17, and running for three days, Jaffa Port will host a special “Heart with the North” fair at Warehouse 2, organized by N12 and the Jaffa Port Company to support businesses from Israel’s north that were hurt during the war. Dozens of farmers, artists, manufacturers, and hospitality business owners from the conflict line, the Galilee, and the Golan Heights will sell directly to the public without middlemen.

The event will be broadcast live from a special N12 set at the port, with reporters Guy Varon and Almog Boker covering it. The initiative grew out of Boker’s “Helping Businesses in the North” segment, which assisted more than 1,000 businesses during the fighting.

Visitors will find food stalls, seasonal fruit, honey, jams, olive oils, chocolates, cheeses, fresh meat, cosmetics, aromatic oils, jewelry, ceramics, stained glass, fashion, accessories, and vintage items. There will also be food stands run by northern chefs and pastry makers, along with street performances on the pier to create a family atmosphere.

Jaffa Port manager Kobi Yerdani said the port sees itself as “a public space that connects people and communities.” He added, “It was clear to us that we wanted to take part in the effort and open the port gates to strengthen the businesses and communities in the north.” The fair will run in Warehouse 2 next to Beit HaMochlot, on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Thursday from noon to 11:00 p.m., and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
