Submarine Inquiry Committee to Hear Testimonies of Senior Officials Including Netanyahu in November

The state-appointed Submarine Inquiry Committee, led by former Supreme Court President Asher Grunis, will begin hearing testimonies from senior officials warned of personal responsibility in November 2026. The committee has issued warning letters to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Moshe (Bogie) Ya'alon, former National Security Advisor Yossi Cohen, former Navy Commander Ram Rotberg, and National Security Council employee Avner Shamhoni. These individuals recently requested additional time to review the materials. The hearings will take place behind closed doors during November and December 2026, after which the committee will publish its final report.
