Three female soldiers injured during evacuation of illegal outpost in Gush Etzion, suspect arrested
Three female soldiers were injured overnight during the evacuation of an illegal outpost established near Maale Amos in Gush Etzion. Security forces arrived at the scene and presented a military order declaring the area a closed military zone, but encountered active resistance that included blocking engineering equipment and attacking the forces. One female soldier was punched in the face and suffered a broken nose, and two other female soldiers were injured by pepper spray. The forces used crowd-control measures to restore order. An 18-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of attacking the forces, and police expect additional arrests.
