Cargo Plane Disappears Over Arabian Sea After Navigation Failure and Rapid Descent

On June 14, 2026, a Boeing 737 cargo plane operated by K2 Airways vanished over the Arabian Sea while flying from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates to Karachi, Pakistan. The aircraft lost contact approximately 300 kilometers west of its destination after reporting a navigation system malfunction and requesting assistance. Pakistani air traffic controllers last communicated with the crew at 21:18 local time, when the plane was about 150 nautical miles south of Karachi. The crew informed controllers of the navigation issue and was instructed to continue on its regular route.
