It was also noted that "an American aircraft fired a precision munition at the ship's engine room after its crew repeatedly failed to comply with instructions conveyed to them by U.S. forces."

CENTCOM said that since the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz began, eight vessels that did not comply with instructions have been disabled, 134 vessels that followed the guidance have been diverted from their course, and 42 vessels carrying humanitarian aid were allowed to continue on their way.
