Pro-Palestinian Group Files Genocide Incitement Complaint Against Israeli MKs in Netherlands

The Hind Rajab Foundation, a pro-Palestinian organization known for targeting Israelis abroad, has filed a criminal complaint in the Netherlands against Israeli Knesset members Ram Ben Barak and Moshe Solomon. The complaint accuses them of public incitement to genocide and calls for an investigation ahead of their participation in a conference on security and cooperation in Europe, held this week in The Hague.

According to the foundation, the two lawmakers exploited their public positions to promote policies aimed at uprooting the Palestinian population from the Gaza Strip. The complaint against Ben Barak, a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and head of the Israeli delegation to the parliamentary assembly, centers on his November 2023 proposal to encourage "voluntary migration" of Gaza residents to other countries. The foundation argues that given the wartime conditions in Gaza, this is forced displacement amounting to incitement to genocide under international law.

Regarding Solomon, the foundation claims his support for renewing Jewish settlements in Gaza and opposition to Palestinian sovereignty there reflect backing for demographic changes achievable only through continued killing and displacement of Palestinians. This legal action is part of a broader campaign by the Hind Rajab Foundation over the past two years, which has filed multiple criminal complaints against Israeli soldiers, officers, ministers, and public figures in various countries to prompt investigations and arrest warrants during their foreign travels.

Diab Abu Jahjah, founder of the "March 30" movement and the Hind Rajab Foundation, stated that the lawmakers' participation in a conference focused on international law contradicts their alleged actions. Abu Jahjah is a Shia Muslim affiliated with Hezbollah, banned from entering the UK and listed among individuals barred from flights over US airspace.
