Iran Warns Israel, US, Gulf States Ahead of Khamenei Funeral Ceremonies

Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, issued a stern warning to Israel, the United States, and Gulf countries on Thursday. He cautioned against any military action against Iran during the upcoming funeral ceremonies for the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, threatening severe retaliation for any aggression. Abdollahi emphasized, "We warn the enemies, especially the US, Israel, and their regional and extra-regional partners, to avoid any miscalculation and consider the harsh and regret-inducing responses of the armed forces to any threat or aggression."

The Islamic Republic is preparing for Khamenei's funeral events, which have been delayed for over four months following his assassination in a joint Israeli-US strike on his Tehran bunker in late February. The ceremonies are set to begin this weekend and conclude with his burial on July 9.

Recent media reports from the US and Iran reveal massive preparations by Iranian authorities to transform the mourning event into a show of military strength and unprecedented mass mobilization. However, international experts argue that these ceremonies primarily expose the regime's vulnerabilities and its extreme isolation globally.
