Newly released recordings of Knesset member Hanoch Milvetsky reveal his harsh criticism of Israel's security and judicial leadership, accusing them of fomenting a rebellion against the state. In the recordings published by Channel 13 on Wednesday, Milvetsky, chairman of the Finance Committee, claimed there is an ongoing revolt within Israel led by senior figures in the security establishment, the prosecution, and the Supreme Court. He described these groups as "corrupt," "wicked," and "extreme leftists" who misuse the law to undermine the country.

Milvetsky stated that Israel continues to engage in conflicts where victory is impossible because there is no justice or law, implying a systemic failure. Earlier the same day, following a Supreme Court ruling blocking the appointment of attorney Michael Rebhilo as State Comptroller, Milvetsky called for ignoring the court's decision. He labeled the ruling "illegal" and urged the government to stop participating in what he called the "absurd theater" led by Supreme Court President Isaac Amit and his allies, asserting that it is time to restore governance.

These statements reflect deep tensions between some political figures and Israel's judicial and security institutions, highlighting ongoing disputes over the balance of power and the rule of law in the country. Milvetsky's remarks come amid broader debates about judicial reforms and the role of the Supreme Court in Israeli democracy.
