Trump Reports Over $1.4 Billion Crypto Earnings for 2025, Surpassing Other Income Sources

US President Donald Trump revealed his 2025 financial disclosure report, showing astonishing earnings exceeding $1.4 billion from family crypto ventures. The report, filed with the government ethics office, highlights digital assets as Trump's primary income source since his return to the White House. Approximately $800 million came from World Liberty Financial, a crypto project Trump founded with his sons, including $520 million from digital token sales and $250 million from business interest sales. Additionally, Trump reported $635 million from meme coin sales linked to his name.

Reuters estimates the Trump family has earned at least $2.3 billion from crypto projects since his current term began, a period marked by his promotion of favorable policies and federal regulations for the crypto industry. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly defended Trump against conflict of interest allegations, stating no president or family has ever been involved in such conflicts and praised Trump for making the US the "crypto capital of the world" through executive orders.

Former government ethics chief Don Fox criticized Trump’s financial conduct, noting that post-Watergate presidents managed their finances to avoid conflicts of interest, a norm he says Trump disregarded. Fox recommended legislative reforms to limit presidential investments to prevent similar situations.

Beyond crypto, Trump earned over $80 million from media deals and $52 million from licensing his name for overseas real estate. His golf and resort businesses grew by 15%, generating over $500 million in 2025. The Trump Organization defended the report’s transparency, calling it one of the most comprehensive financial disclosures ever submitted, spanning nearly 1,000 pages and demonstrating unprecedented presidential financial openness.
