Trump Family Crypto Ventures Generate Over €1 Billion Amid White House Ties

A new financial report reveals that the Trump family's cryptocurrency businesses earned over €1 billion in the past year, significantly boosting Donald Trump's personal wealth, which Forbes estimates at €6.5 billion. The report highlights two main ventures driving these profits: World Liberty Financial, founded by Trump's sons, which generated more than €438 million from token sales, and the $TRUMP coin project, which brought in approximately €557 million. Despite these earnings, investors faced steep losses, with the $TRUMP coin's value plummeting below $2 and World Liberty tokens losing about 80% of their value since last September.

Beyond crypto, the Trump brand expanded aggressively internationally, with real estate projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Romania, and Vietnam yielding millions of euros. These countries are also engaged in trade and security negotiations with the Trump administration. Additionally, the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida saw a 50% revenue increase to around €67.5 million, likely due to visits from high-profile guests. The Trump brand also profited from merchandise sales, including €4.1 million from watches and hundreds of thousands from a special edition Bible. First Lady Melania Trump earned over €8.7 million from a biographical documentary and memoir sales.

The report, spanning 927 pages, has sparked criticism over potential conflicts of interest between Trump's public role and private profits. The White House responded through deputy spokeswoman Anna Kelly, denying any conflict of interest, stating that neither the president nor his family have been or will be involved in such conflicts. Kelly emphasized Trump's efforts to position the U.S. as a global crypto hub and dismissed the allegations as "a recycled false narrative."
