22 Countries to Iran: Stop Attempted Killings on Our Soil

Twenty-two governments, including the United States, Australia, France, Germany and other European countries, are demanding that Iran stop its attacks against people on their territory in a joint statement by the countries. The governments condemn attacks in Europe, North America and Australia by Iran against Iranian regime opponents, journalists, and members of Jewish or Israeli communities on their soil.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran must end these operations immediately," the statement said. The group of countries, the United States, Britain, Albania, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal and Sweden, "condemn attempted assassinations and other malicious acts carried out in Europe, North America and Australia by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence service, Quds Force and Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security."

They mentioned recent attacks in Europe against Jewish communities, Iranian journalists and American interests, for which the Iran-backed group Asbat al-Yamin al-Islamia claimed responsibility. The group claimed responsibility for an arson attack and a stabbing attack in London against two Jews, as well as additional actions in Europe, after the war in Iran broke out on February 28.
