Eden Golan Chosen to Sing Hebrew Finale Song for Disney’s Live-Action Moana

Eden Golan, known for her impressive performances at Eurovision and on the Israeli show "Dancing with the Stars," has been selected by Disney to perform the closing song for the Hebrew dub of the live-action film "Moana." The new song, titled "The Whole Journey" in Hebrew, is an original piece created specifically for the live-action adaptation and will be added to the film's playlist. It was composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also created the music for the original 2016 animated hit, which grossed over $640 million worldwide.

Golan will join the Hebrew voice cast alongside Mashi Kleinstein as Moana and Eran Mor as Maui, the Polynesian demigod. In the American version, the roles are voiced by Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson, who reprises his role from the animated film. Disney’s choice of Golan reflects her recent vocal and stage successes, including her fifth-place finish at Eurovision with the song "Hurricane" and her popular participation in "Dancing with the Stars," where she dances with experienced partner Artyom Liaskovski.

The live-action "Moana" is part of Disney’s ongoing trend of reimagining classic animated films into live-action versions, following recent releases like "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin," "The Little Mermaid," and "Snow White" starring Gal Gadot. The story follows Moana, the daughter of Chief Tui, who embarks on a dangerous journey to find Maui and fix a mistake threatening the Polynesian islands.

The film is scheduled to premiere in Israeli cinemas on July 8, 2026, during a busy summer season featuring movies from Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and additional Disney sequels. The song "The Whole Journey" is already available on various music platforms, with fans excited to hear Golan’s voice in this major Disney project.
