German Airline Condor Resumes Flights to Tel Aviv Amid Growing International Traffic at Ben Gurion Airport

German airline Condor is set to resume flights between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv starting August 2026, marking its return to Israel after a period of suspended operations. The airline highlighted that its colorful aircraft livery makes it easily recognizable. Condor's Frankfurt hub will provide Israeli passengers with extensive connectivity to destinations across Europe, North and South America, Africa, and the Indian Ocean, enhancing travel options for both business and leisure travelers.

The airline also announced a partnership with TAL Aviation, which will represent Condor in Israel by managing sales, marketing, public relations, and strengthening ties with travel agents and business partners to expand the brand's presence locally. This move is part of a broader trend of foreign airlines renewing their services to Israel as the aviation sector gradually recovers and international routes to Ben Gurion Airport reopen.

Additionally, the Israeli Air Force is scheduled to deploy American aircraft from Ben Gurion Airport starting late June, with a second wave of about 15 planes arriving mid-July, totaling 30 aircraft. This deployment is expected to help resolve the recent crisis involving the cancellation of 100,000 flight tickets and encourage more foreign airlines to resume flights to Israel.
