In a 175-page filing submitted to the federal court in Manhattan, the prosecution requested the maximum penalty.
In addition to life imprisonment, prosecutors are seeking fines totaling $4.75 million: $1.5 million for Oren and Alon each, and $1.75 million for Tal. The Alexander brothers were until recently prominent figures in the U.S. luxury real estate market, generating over $100 million in commissions and income from sales in the last three years alone. Their transactions included a Miami Beach mansion sale for $27.5 million in 2023 and a property sale by Oren for $22.5 million in 2025, and Tal's house for $34 million.
The prosecution argued that the brothers' wealth and status were instrumental in committing their crimes, stating, "They dedicated years to planning, executing, and refining their modus operandi: luring victims with promises of a luxurious lifestyle, drugging them so they could not resist, and violently raping them." The brothers allegedly rented luxury estates in the Hamptons and other resort areas, hosted lavish parties, and used sedatives to incapacitate women before assaulting them. Reports indicate they documented some of the assaults and shared the recordings.
One victim testified, "If there is a child with a stick who keeps hitting people, what do you do? You take the stick away. The money is their stick, and we are taking it so they cannot harm people anymore." The defense attorneys for the brothers maintain their clients' innocence, arguing their conduct was at most "insensitive" and denying allegations of sexual assault. They are requesting a sentence of only 15 years, the statutory minimum for the charges.
