Israel As and Elyator Release First Joint Song About the Pain of Waiting for a Match

The story · English

Israel As and Elyator, two of the most prominent voices in Israeli Jewish music, have released their first collaboration, a faith-based ballad titled "From the Tears He Calls You." The song focuses on one of the most sensitive issues for many in the community, the waiting for a suitable marriage match.

Israel As rose to wider recognition with the hit "Kacha Hashem Ratzah" , which has drawn millions of views and many covers. Elyator has also become one of the genre’s leading names in recent years, breaking out online with "Tamid Ohev Oti" and other hits. The new song was written and composed by Yair Elyator, Israel As and Moti Simon.

The lyrics present an intimate, honest conversation with God from a place of deep pain and strong belief. The heroine says, "Father, I know that You are listening to me, years alone and it hurts me," and describes loneliness, invitations to friends' weddings, and the ongoing hope of building a home of her own. The song also describes a spiritual journey through prayers, visits to the graves of righteous figures, and repeated pleas, including, "Yes, she tried everything, Psalms, things, she cried out at every grave."

Despite the sorrow, the chorus offers comfort and hope, telling her, "You will see that in the end it will not last forever, from the tears He calls you." In the second part, another voice appears, an older brother praying for his sister and asking for true love, healthy partnership and a home filled with joy. The simple, everyday language and the two singers' emotional delivery are presented as the reason the track is expected to resonate with many listeners.
