Haredi protesters clash with drivers near Kiryat Ono, bus door struck with whip

Haredi demonstrators taking part in a protest convoy against the arrest of draft evaders clashed with drivers on a road near Kiryat Ono. Video from the scene shows several ultra-Orthodox men surrounding a stopped bus while one of them repeatedly hits the bus door with a rubber strap.

Eran, who filmed the incident, told ynet that one of the men suddenly pulled out a whip and began striking the bus door. “It was just crazy,” he said, describing the confrontation as it unfolded in the area.

The report says the incident took place during the protest convoy, but does not say whether anyone was injured or whether police intervened.
