American actress and model Sydney Sweeney is reportedly seriously considering converting to Judaism as her relationship with music producer and manager Scooter Braun progresses. Sources close to the couple told Page Six that Braun plans to propose within the next six months. Sweeney has allegedly met with two rabbis to inquire about the conversion process. The couple was recently seen attending Rosh Hashanah prayers at a Connecticut synagogue. Friends of Braun state he is "very determined to marry her" and likens Sweeney to a "modern Marilyn Monroe," who also converted to Judaism before marrying playwright Arthur Miller. This news follows a recent controversy involving Sweeney, who appeared in a provocative advertisement for sports betting company Novig, in which she is also a shareholder. The ad, which featured her nude and partially obscured by sports equipment, drew criticism for sampling Israel's national anthem, "Hatikva," in the background music.
