A new poll conducted by Channel 14 indicates that a majority of Israelis believe Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's account regarding alleged warnings he received before the October 7th Hamas attack, over the version presented by journalists.
According to the survey, 53% of respondents stated they believe the Prime Minister's narrative, while 46% sided with the journalists who published the investigative reports. Only 1% expressed no opinion on this matter.
When asked about the motivation behind the publications concerning Netanyahu's alleged warnings, 54% of those polled believe the reports are driven by election considerations. In contrast, 44% think the aim is to reveal the truth, with 2% undecided.
The poll also explored public opinion on Netanyahu's meeting with the ruler of the United Arab Emirates. A majority of 51% believe the meeting signifies trust from moderate Arab leaders in the Prime Minister, while 34% disagreed. The remaining 15% had no stance.
The survey was conducted by NEXT DATA, involving 573 adult participants from the general population, and its data was analyzed by Shlomo Filber. The poll was published on September 28, 2026.
