האדמו"ר מקוזמיר, הרב יעקב יצחק הלוי, נשא תפילת סליחות בקבר שמואל הנביא, סמוך לכפר הפלסטיני א-ראם, ביום חמישי בערב. התפילה התקיימה במסגרת אמירת "י"ג מדות" (שלוש עשרה מידות הרחמים של הקב"ה). האירוע התקיים ביום חמישי, ט"ו בתשרי ה׳תשפ״ז, והוא משך אליו קהל של חסידים ואנשי מעשה. קבר שמואל הנביא, הממוקם באזור שבין ירושלים לרמאללה, הוא אתר קדוש ליהודים ולמוסלמים כאחד, ומהווה נקודת חיכוך היסטורית.
