יושב ראש האופוזיציה יאיר לפיד, יחד עם ראשי מפלגות גוש השמאל וארגון "רק לא ביבי", נפגשו היום (יום ראשון) בסוכתו. הפגישה נועדה לתאם עמדות לקראת המשך כהונתו של בנימין נתניהו כראש הממשלה.

במקביל, יו"ר המחנה הממלכתי בני גנץ, שלא הוזמן לפגישה, הגיב בעקיצה. גנץ ציין כי הוא אינו מתייחס לפגישות "מאחורי הקלעים" וכי הוא מעדיף לפעול בגלוי למען מדינת ישראל. הוא הוסיף כי המחנה הממלכתי פועל למען אחדות בעם וכי הוא אינו מתייחס ל"קבוצות קטנות" או ל"פוליטיקה קטנה".
