יושב ראש מפלגת 'כחול לבן', בני גנץ, הצהיר כי אם סקרים בשבוע האחרון של מערכת הבחירות יראו שמפלגתו לא עוברת את אחוז החסימה, הוא יפסיק את קמפיין הבחירות. גנץ אמר בפודקסט Lazar Focus של הטיימס אוף ישראל כי מחויבותו היא לבוחריו, והוא מבטיח שקולם לא יבוזבז. "נעבור את אחוז החסימה, או שלא אתמודד בשבוע האחרון בערך", אמר, והדגיש כי "אף קול לא יתבזבז". הצהרתו של גנץ עומדת בסתירה להכחשותיו החוזרות ונשנות בתקופה האחרונה, בהן טען כי יתמודד עד הסוף ולא יפרוש מהמירוץ.
