משטרת מחוז ש"י פתחה בחקירה בעקבות דיווח על אירוע הצתה ותקיפה בכפר בורקא שבבנימין. בשעות הבוקר נעצר חשוד במעורבות באירוע, והועבר לחקירה בתחנת המשטרה. כוחות משטרה וחוקרי זיהוי פלילי, בליווי צה"ל, נכנסו לזירה בכפר לאיסוף ממצאים, ראיות ועדויות. המשטרה מסרה כי החקירה נמשכת.
