דובר צה"ל התייחס לסצנה מהסרט התיעודי "נז"א" (נזק אגבי), שבה נטען כי אושרה תקיפה ברצועת עזה שעלולה לגרום למותם של 500 אזרחים. הדובר הבהיר כי הטענה "שקרית לחלוטין" וכי ליוצרי הסרט לא הייתה כל דרך לאמת אותה, ואין לה כל בסיס עובדתי. הוא הוסיף כי לא ניתן לאמת פרטים אודות המרואיין בסרט, שירותו הצבאי או תפקידו. צה"ל הדגיש כי תקיפה מסוג זה מעולם לא תוכננה, אושרה או בוצעה, וכי הבחירה להשתמש בטענה זו לקידום הסרט מעלה סימן שאלה לגבי אמינותו של יתר התוכן המוצג בו.
