אירוע סעודה חגיגית שתוכנן למאות תיירים ישראלים בבית חב"ד באי פוקט שבתאילנד, בוטל בעקבות דרישה של שירותי הביטחון הישראלים. ההחלטה התקבלה לאחר הפגנה פרו-פלסטינית שנערכה בסמוך, במהלכה צעדו המשתתפים בקריאות תמיכה בפלסטין.

הארגון שלח הודעות דחופות לכל הנרשמים לאירוע, והדגיש כי הביטול נבע מאיום ביטחוני ממשי, וכי המפגינים עלולים לגלות אגרסיביות. התיירים הונחו שלא להגיע לאזור ולהתרחק ממקום האירוע לשם שמירה על ביטחונם.
