Itamar Fleishman says US-Iran deal is worse than Munich

Itamar Fleishman, a panelist on Channel 14’s "The Patriots," reacted sharply to the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, calling it "much worse than the Munich Agreement." He said the agreement’s damage to Israel’s security cannot even be measured and warned that its long-term consequences are deeply troubling.

Fleishman also said the Israeli government must act with great caution toward the American administration. He directly criticized US President Donald Trump, saying Trump had "thrown the Iranian people like the Czechs," comparing the deal to a case in which one country sacrifices another for its own interests.

He added that despite the difficulties, Israel is becoming the only hope for other peoples in the region, including the Druze, Lebanese people who are not Hezbollah, and Syrians who are not ISIS, all of whom are fighting their enemies.

Fleishman ended by repeating his view that no national honors in Israel, including the Israel Prize or lighting a torch at Independence Day ceremonies, should be given to anyone who is not Israeli. He said only Israelis will always put Israel’s interests first, and that this principle must be preserved absolutely.
