Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona Signs Guard Lavell Carr
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has officially signed 29-year-old guard Lavell Carr, bolstering their roster for the upcoming season. Carr, who stands at 1.88 meters, joins the team coached by Doug Spradley after a standout previous season in Poland's top league.
Last season with Górnik, Carr averaged 16.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. He previously played in Georgia, Germany's second division, and France's second division, after developing his college career at Liberty Flames.
The signing comes after the southern club, Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona, resolved significant financial issues that had threatened its continuation in the Premier League. The team has also added Noam Avivi, Golan Gut, Shahar Doron, Tyrik Smith, Gabe Wiznitzer, and Ido Fleischer, while retaining Matan Fogel and Ofri Shitrit. Coach Spradley remains with the team.
