Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona Signs Guard Lavell Carr
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has officially signed 29-year-old guard Lavell Carr for the upcoming season. Carr, who stands at 1.88 meters, joins the team coached by Doug Spradlin after an impressive season in the Polish league with Górnik Wałbrzych, where he averaged 16.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.
Carr's basketball journey includes playing for Liberty Flames college team and previously competing in the Georgian, second-tier German, and second-tier French leagues. His signing comes after the southern Israeli club navigated significant financial challenges, securing the necessary funds to continue competing in the Premier League.
In addition to Carr and coach Spradlin, the team has also brought in Noam Avivi, Golan Gut, Shahar Doron, Tyrik Smith, Gabe Viznitzer, and Ido Fleischer. Matan Fogel and Ofri Shitrit will continue with the team.
