New Arab-Jewish Party Launched to Challenge Ben Gvir, Smotrich and Netanyahu
Rula Daoud and Alon-Lee Green announced the creation of a new Arab-Jewish party called "A Place for All of Us." The two co-chairs said the party will seek to bring "a new voice of partnership, peace, hope and responsibility" into Israeli politics.
According to the founders, the party will focus on issues that affect daily life in Israel, including the fight against violence and crime, the high cost of living, the housing crisis, and what they called the urgent need that has been pushed aside, progress toward an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement.
They also said the party's run is meant to strengthen the effort to remove Itamar Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich and Benjamin Netanyahu from power. No further details were given about the party's platform, electoral plans or launch date beyond the announcement.
