Social Activist Moshe Har-Tzion Joins Ofer Winter's Party for Knesset

Social activist Moshe Har-Tzion, son of the late fighter Meir Har-Tzion and founder of the 'Arzi' movement, announced his joining of the 'Am Israel' party, led by retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter. Har-Tzion will be included on the party's list for the upcoming Knesset elections.

Har-Tzion established the 'Arzi' movement, which focuses on strengthening Israeli agriculture, rural towns, and the countryside. Its goals include protecting state lands from encroachment and agricultural crime, and recognizing agriculture as a national infrastructure. Har-Tzion currently resides in the Lower Galilee.

Previously, Har-Tzion publicly supported the 'Derech Eretz' party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Tzvi Hauser. He expressed his enthusiasm for joining 'Am Israel,' stating that Winter "represents the values I grew up with and believe in: defeating the enemy and settlement in our land."

Har-Tzion intends to represent farmers, agricultural workers, and rural communities within the party. He believes that "new forces entering the political arena, into positions of influence, especially after October 7th, are crucial." He sees 'Am Israel' as the best vehicle for this.
