Amos Luzon Buys Shares in Three Companies He Controls
Amos Luzon, a significant figure in Israeli business, has recently increased his holdings in three publicly traded companies under his control. The purchases, made through the stock exchange, signal a continued investment strategy by the businessman.
Luzon acquired approximately 200,000 shekels worth of shares in Luzon Group, a holding company where he already owns about 57% of the equity. Luzon Group is involved in contracting, infrastructure, real estate development in Israel and Poland (through its subsidiary Ronson), and holds a substantial stake in the Dorad power station. The company is valued at around 2 billion shekels, with other major shareholders including investment house Mor and Menora.
Additionally, Luzon indirectly increased his stake in Luzon Ronson, a subsidiary focused on Polish real estate, by purchasing shares through his holding company. Luzon Group holds approximately 71% of Luzon Ronson, which was acquired for about 180,000 shekels. This subsidiary is valued at approximately 1.9 billion shekels, close to its parent company's valuation.
The third company involved is Luzon Credit, formerly Tarya, a peer-to-peer lending firm that has also entered the mortgage market. Amos Luzon indirectly holds about 28% of Luzon Credit through Luzon Group. His holding company purchased around 200,000 shekels worth of Luzon Credit shares. Luzon Credit has a market capitalization of roughly 220 million shekels.
These transactions highlight Luzon's ongoing engagement with the companies he leads, reflecting a strategy of reinforcing his control and investment in his business ventures.
