Shas MK says deputy attorney general is the force behind the attorney general

Shas MK Yinon Azoulai said in a Tuesday morning interview on Radio Kol Chai that public anger in the Haredi community should not be aimed mainly at the attorney general. He argued that the real power behind her is her deputy, Gil Limon.

Azoulai said, "Do not praise the attorney general too much for having such thinking. The one behind everything is her deputy, Gil Limon, and he is doing it out of hatred." He added that Limon "will do everything he can to damage the state," claimed that "he does not believe in the Jewish state," and said the "religious bloc" is what bothers him.

He concluded that Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara is "just a puppet on his strings."
