Likud MK Ariel Kellner said in a late-night interview on Radio Galei Yisrael that Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara is responsible for what he called the anarchy in the country. Speaking to Ziv Maor and Moria Michaeli, he cited road blockages and said that people are now acting “whenever they want, however they want, and as much as they want.” He argued that this climate began when people “favored by Gali Baharav-Miara” started the unrest.
Kellner also claimed that if those he criticized were in the governing coalition, they would “break up” anyone who opposed them in order to prevent anarchy. In his view, as long as they can create chaos and then blame the government, the situation serves them, because confusion and disorder ultimately work in their favor.
In the same discussion, and in a related item cited alongside it, he said that “the hatred of the ultra-Orthodox is becoming more and more justified.” He further said Baharav-Miara “should be in interrogation rooms,” adding that in a proper country that is where she would be. According to him, Israel is still far from being a proper state, and because she heads the law-enforcement system, that system prefers to obey her rather than the law and justice.
