Hasidic Leaders Reunite in Jerusalem After 35 Years

The Rebbe of Ziditshov-Vueretzky visited Jerusalem this week for blessings and to receive blessings from the generation's elders. He first visited Rabbi Yaakov Meir Shchter, a prominent Torah scholar, where a historic reunion took place. The two had studied Kabbalah together 35 years prior. Rabbi Shchter recited the "Shehecheyanu" blessing, expressing gratitude for seeing his former study partner again, and told the Rebbe, "You do not need blessings from me; you can give them." The Rebbe also visited Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, a leading halachic decisor, to offer and receive blessings for the year.
